Amy Carlson
Amy Lynn Carlson was born on July 7th in 1968. She is an American actress best known for her roles on Blue Bloods as Linda Reagan, Alex Taylor and Josie Watts on the NBC soap show Another World.
Childhood and early life
Carlson was born in Elmhurst, [[DuPage County, Illinois], near Chicago, and was raised in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, the daughter of the parents of schoolteachers, Barbara Jane (Hultman) and Robert Eugene Carlson. Carlson is of Swedish descent , with roots in Smaland.
Career
1986-1992: Early career , and college
She came into Hollywood through her role as a background actress in the film Lucas which starred Charlie Sheen, Corey Haim, as well as Winona Ryder. Then, she joined her older sister Betsy (Knox College) to Galesburg.
