Gugulethu Sofia Mbatha better recognized by her stage and screen names Gugu Mbatha Raw. The actress became famous when she was cast as a character in "Doctor who.' This British Science Fiction TV show broadcasts on BBC. Gugu became famous for her character Tish Jones. The character was a sibling to Martha Jones. Handler began appearing in various other programs, including Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler began her career as a correspondent for The Tonight Show. Handler got her big break in 2006 when she began running her own talk show for E! the show was titled The Chelsea Show. The show lasted for two seasons. The next year, Handler performed on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend as well as HBO have aired her stand-up comic performance. It was announced in 2010 that she would be hosting MTV's Video Music Awards in 2010. MTV Video Music Awards 2010. This made her the second woman in history to host the VMA's, following Roseanne Barr.
